Below are the steps on how you can pitch your story to a publication.

1. Navigation to the Pitch Story Page: Proceed to access the sidebar menu and designate the “Publications” tab. Peruse the roster of publications and select the one to which you intend to submit your story. Initiate the process by clicking on “Pitch Story.”

2. Selection of the Journalist: Choose the journalist affiliated with the chosen publication whom you wish to engage with regarding your story pitch.

3. Choice of the Media Kit: Choose the media kit of the story that you wish to pitch.

4. Composition of a Personalized Message: Meticulously craft a succinct yet compelling message addressed to the journalist, accentuating the salient aspects of your story and elucidating why it holds relevance and appeal for their discerning audience. Upon finalization, proceed to submit your pitch.

Subsequently, you possess the option to disseminate your pitch to additional journalists pertinent to your sphere of interest. Alternatively, you may opt for an exclusive approach, granting access solely to a designated publication.

Alternative Method: Pitching from Individual Publication Page

1. Navigate to the Pitch Story page and proceed to the Publications section.

2. Here, you’ll find a comprehensive list of publications. Refine your options by applying filters tailored to your preferences. Once selected, proceed to the publication you wish to pitch to.

3. Within the chosen publication’s page, click on the Submit Story tab to initiate the pitching process.

4. Identify the journalist affiliated with the publication whom you intend to pitch your story to.

5. Next, select the appropriate media kit tailored to your pitch.

6. Craft a personalized message for the journalist, articulating the relevance and appeal of your story. Upon completion, submit your pitch. And your story has been submitted.
