Key Elements of a Press Release Media Kit
Cover Image
Choosing the right cover image for your press release is incredibly important. It’s like the face of your message—it’s the first thing people see. The image sets the vibe for your whole release, so it has to catch the eye, spark interest, and match your message. A great cover image can make your press release stand out, get noticed, and get shared more widely. Plus, it helps reinforce your brand and makes your release more memorable. So, it’s worth taking the time to find a high-quality image that fits your content and appeals to your audience.
Press Release Title
Selecting the perfect press release title is crucial because it’s what draws people in. It’s the first thing they see, so it has to be attention-grabbing and intriguing. A good title sets the stage for what’s to come and entices readers to keep reading. It’s like the spark that ignites interest and gets people excited about your message. When you nail the title, you increase the chances of your press release getting noticed, shared, and picked up by media outlets. So, putting thought and effort into crafting the right title can make a big difference in how effectively your message is communicated and received.

Category
Choose from a variety of categories what matches the best with your press release.
Concept Note
The concept note or lead is the opening or brief overview outlining the content of the press release. You must make it impressive since that is the first thing the journalists will notice even before reading the complete press release.
Press Release Content
You can choose to add the press release in either of the formats: Compose the press release in the given content box, upload the press release as a Word/PDF document or paste a drive link to the press release.

Make sure they’re diverse and inclusive to appeal to everyone. And always get permission and credit the photographers—it’s respectful and keeps things professional. Following these steps helps ensure your press release shines with the perfect visuals.

Tags
Make sure to add as many relevant tags as possible. This ensures enhanced visibility for your press release to bring it to the notice of the right set of journalists.
Media Contact
Media Contact is a person appointed from your organisation to tend to all queries received from the media outlets. The decision of whom to appoint is of paramount importance since the journalists are put off by delayed responses and inconsistent communication. So appoint someone who stays abreast of the queries and can responsibly promptly respond to any questions from journalists. You can choose a different contact for each press release you create.
Media Kit Access
You have the opportunity to customize the level of access granted to journalists for your media kit on Fublis. You can opt for full transparency by making it “Open to All,” allowing all platform journalists to view it. Alternatively, for added privacy and control, you can designate it as “Private.” In this case, journalists must request access from you directly, affording you the discretion to manage access according to your preferences and needs.
